House of Hope Orphanage - Yambio, South Sudan

Robert and Paula Lutz
Picture
The House of Hope Orphanage Project began as a dream four years ago in Yambio, South Sudan. The Evangelical Lutheran Church of South Sudan/Sudan leadership and the Gbudwe State government determined that an orphanage was desperately needed. They requested that Rob & Paula Lutz turn this dream into a reality. Over the course of the past three years, Rob & Paula have worked to raise funds to build the House of Hope Orphanage. By God's grace and with the support of churches, individuals, and other organizations, they have completed the project. They opened the orphanage on February 10th. There are 12 boys and 12 girls who have been chosen to reside in the House of Hope Orphanage. What a blessing!

Sponsors for the children are being sought. The House of Hope board of directors has determined the cost of sponsoring/supporting each child is about $520 (USD) per year. This amount covers food, clothing, tuition for education, personal care, and support. Please prayerfully consider whether you could partially or fully sponsor a child. If interested contact Rob and Paula Lutz for more details. May the Lord's loving and merciful hand direct and guide you, this orphanage ministry, and these children in all ways and at all times!
