    • Stewardship Central

Philippians 3:19 - "Their end is destruction, their god is their belly, and they glory in their shame, with minds set on earthly things."  St. Paul does not want us to set our minds on earthly things, for they are passing away. This is smilar to what Jesus says about storing up treasures on earth rather than storing them in heaven., Our heart tends to go where we put our treasure. This is why God commands us to live generously; not to spoil our fun but to help train us in keeping our priorities straight and our minds off un-lasting things.

    • From Holy Scripture:

"The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is majestic."

      Psalm 29:4

    • The Lutheran Hour

"Ba-a-ah" (Rev. Dr. Michael Zeigler) Strikingly, Jesus refers to his people both as "sheep" and as "gods" (Psalm 82).  How does that work (John 10)? Enjoy listening to the Lutheran Sundays on WCCO 830AM at 6:05, KDOM 1580AM 10:00 am or KDOM 94.3FM at 10:00am.
