Receive God’s exchange today: your sin for Jesus’ sacrifice. The worthless for the immeasurable!

He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but                    also for the sins of the whole world. – 1 John 2:2

Acts 1:16 – “Brothers, the Scripture had to be fulfilled, which the
Holy Spirit spoke beforehand by the mouth of David concerning Judas, who became a guide to those who arrested Jesus.”

Judas sold out our Lord for 30 pieces of silver. He sold out his friend, Master, and teacher for the sake of greed. That is a sharp reminder for us to search our own hearts for greed and to pray that the Lord would help us to turn away from greed before it consumes us.

This week’s sanctuary candle has been given                            in memory of Adam “Red” Jans, grandson of                            John and Joyce Jans, who went to his eternal                              home on September 23, 2019, and in honor                                and love to Alaina Jans, great-granddaughter                            of John and Joyce who was recently diagnosed                          with leukemia.

If you would like to donate a sanctuary candle ($5) in memory of or in honor
of someone or an occasion, please let the church office know.
