May 11th - Fourth Sunday of Easter

Almighty God, merciful Father, since you brought back from the dead the Shepherd of your Sheep, grant us your Holy Spirit to know his voice and to follow him, that sin and death may never pluck us out of your hand; through the same Jesus Christ, our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. We are here by the grace of God and through the power of Jesus' resurrection.  We assemble to worship Him because we are thankful and excited about what our God has done for us in Christ Jesus.  The Lord bless you with joy and peace, with hope and faith through the Good News He brings to you today.

Stewardship Central - May 4th

John 21:6- "He said to them, 'Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some.' So they cast it, and now they were not able to haul it in, because of the quantity of fish."
Won't the disciples ever learn? Jesus did this once before - when the odds seemed completely against it, the Lord gave them a commend to let down the nets, a command that seemed crazy. But they complied and He blessed their obedience. When will we learn this lesson, too?

God can always help us through our times of discouragement!
Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand .     - Isaiah 41:10

From Holy Scripture

"Ask the animals, and they will teach you... or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish of the sea inform you. Which of all these does not know [what] the hand of the LORD has done...? In His hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind."
Job 12:7-10
