Lutheran Women's Missionary League

LWML meets the third Thursday of the month - January, March, May, July, September, and November.
Our next meeting is Thursday, March 16th.
If any members are unable to come to the meetings and would like to give their mites, please drop them off at the office, and they will be given to the treasurer.

This group collects mites to be used in many mission needs. The Mission Goal for the 2020-2022 Biennium was reached! The LWML Minnesota South District has been so blessed with its member's generosity that provided mite funds to reach our goal and surpass it. The 2022-2024 Biennium will begin with $27,404.88 carried over from the previous Biennium!  Prayerfully consider if you may also contribute to the mites as you are able.
Mission Grants 2022-2024 Biennium
Concordia Theological Sem, Fort Wayne, IN, Food & Clothing Co-op: $10,000
The Food & Clothing Co-op provides 80% of food needs to future pastors and deaconesses at no cost to them.
The Dwelling Place: $20,000
Supports faith-based programming and mentoring to end abuse.
MN South District Student Aid Scholarship $30 ,000
Offered to LCMS students enrolled in the Concordia University System (CUS) preparing for
professional church work and for rosted workers advancing their education
Mission Central - LCMS Missionary Support      $10 ,000
Working with Mission Central places mite dollars where they need to be most efficiently to the missionaries. The Timothy Scholarship-Mayer Lutheran $20,000
Non-Lutheran/un-churched families will pay less tuition to attend this Christ-centered high school.
