The Transfiguration of our Lord

We are here by the grace of God and through the power of Jesus' resurrection.  We assemble to worship Him because we are thankful and excited about what our God has done for us in Christ Jesus.  The Lord bless you with joy and peace, with hope and faith through the Good News He brings to you today.

God can always help us through our times of discouragement!
Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand .     - Isaiah 41:10

A Christian is never in a state of completion but always in a process of becoming."

Stewardship Central

John 10:16-"And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice."
The sheep know the Shepherd's voice and delight to go where He leads. Of course, the world, the devil and our own sinful flesh ant to pull us in another direction. But following the Shepherd means life, and following anyone else means death. So, no matter how difficult the path, let us follow Him!

This week's Sanctuary candle is given in thanksgiving for blessings received. The Sanctuary candle is a consistent reminder of our Savior's promise to His Church to remain with her always.

If you would like to donate a sanctuary candle ($5) in memory of or in honor
of someone or an occasion, please let the church office know.
